Watch! Dog only responds to commands if given with an Irish accent

A six-month-old Rottweiler refuses to obey commands...unless they're given in an Irish accent.

The dog, named Paddy, spent the first months of his life in Northern Ireland, where he learned basic commands. Now in an English home, Paddy can't seem to get the hang of his owner's British accent.

Now, British resident Jay has to use an Irish accent when speaking to his dog. "He won't come in from the garden unless Jay says 'come in now' in the accent," Jay's partner Megan said.

The couple is now teaching Paddy hand commands instead.
